Jeremy Vs. The Buffalo
The Buffalo glared at me. I knew that I had crossed it. I contemplated my next move as his nostrils swelled and contracted with his breathing. I had insulted his brother, and the Buffalo wanted revenge. Negotiations between myself and the Buffalo were over, and we both knew it. I stepped slowly to the left, then to the right. He followed me with his eyes only, his head did not move. I knew the only way I was walking away from this in one peice was if I went for his soft spot. I had read that the Buffalo's one weakness in a one-on-one confrontation was his tongue. I used the standoff as an opportunity to dispell the fears that crept into my mind and gather courage for action. I spread my index and middle fingers into a "V" and dove for his nose....
